Saturday May 10th The Grant Zoology Museum

There is a little Museum in the borough of Camden in North London called The Grant Museum of Zoology. It is a tiny little one roomed museum full of dead animals in jars cut in half so you can see their insides, and skeletons of animals from rats to lions. It is seriously beautiful and such a charming little place. My friend Sahr adores biology and all that science stuff and someday she will be a female David Attenborough, but with more of an edgy aura, if you get what I'm saying. In other words she likes animals and animal innards. I like animals and animal innards too so we decided to go. I think it is so incredible how detailed and complex the mechanism inside of us are,  it is like a tiny little world if its own.

Before we headed down to the museum we stopped by Chelsea to grab a bite at the little food market Partridges which has a little cafe too.

If you are going to be my friend you must be prepared for me to take many photos of you especially if you look this fierce

 My homemade screw cancer shirt

Yes, we did both wear matching big black floppy hats and that is okay. And now here are some of the things we saw inside of the museum...

That was our little adventure, Tata for now xx

EMILY

So, in an unexpected turn of events London is brightening up. The sun is in the sky, I genuinely can't see one cloud, and it is almost warm enough to just wear a sweater...almost, don't risk it. It is finally Spring-ish time and the daffodils are blooming and the trees are budding, it's absolutely beautiful. Also it seems as if people are coming out of hibernation. The sun is drawing what almost looks like a trace of happiness out of people and a glint of a smile to the faces of Londoners. This is all so exciting.

Since the sun was shinning I thought what a waste to spend my sunny Saturday inside doing school so I called up my good buddy Emily. We decided just to go waltz around Ealing Broadway. We had a wonderful time sipping coffees and teas, then spending our money on makeup and other things we probably do not need.

We decided it was time for another break and headed to the big starbucks near Walpole park, and we sat outside to soak up a little sun. We were talking about Channels  A/W 2014 show and how brilliant we thought the concept of a little supermarket was but how overall we were not all that impressed with the styling of the clothes (no disrespect Karl, you still are a God) ANYWAYS, We then naturally fell into conversation about Karl's favourite girl Cara Delevingne. Everyone loves a little Cara, I mean she is EVERYWHERE. She walked for practically everyone and she stars in an insane number of campaign ads for the likes of , DKNY, MULBERRY, YSL, and the list goes on.  Some time passes as the Cara conversation ends and we notice a whole number of incredibly well dressed people walk by, and several all in quite dressy black, it was like 3 o'clock so we were a tad confused why these girls would be so dressed up so early in the day. A few moments passed and this girl passes and who does it turn out to be...the one and only Cara Delevingne. So yeah we met her and got a photo.

It's March

I haven't posted in soooo long, sorrry. I have been super busy trying to put my portfolio together to try and get into school AHHH. Anyways I have pretty much finished that and have a little bit more time on my hands. Yesterday I finished a whole week of economic work in four hours. I was honestly pretty impressed with myself.

Today Saskia and I went to westfield to walk around and stuff, neither of us actually ended up buying anything. We did however get free eyeliner and pepsi! I guess we did buy stuff..FOOD. Saskia bought me McDonalds and Gelato! She is literally the nicest human on this planet. I shall get a job soon so I can treat her. I am lucky to have friends who buy me food when I am too poor. Love you Sas!!!

Sass being grumpy because I wanted to take photos of her but she wanted to eat Ice Cream.

We got mint chochip and some hazelnut whatever thing

Saskia wore some super funky trousers from H and M! They are seriously so cool.
I was gonna take pictures of my outfit when I got home but I completely forgot and had already jumped into my Pajamas by the time I remembered. However I did manage to take pictures of the rings I wore today which I absolutely adore.  In the photo above the ring on the left is my Grandmothers and the one on the right I bought at a boot sale.
Both of these rings are my Grandmothers as well so I have no idea where she got them.

That is all I have to say for now. I hope you all have wonderful week. xx

Peter Pilotto

With the release of Peter Pilotto's line for Target the other day I decided to dedicate a whole post to this Label. The designers behind the clothes are Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. There clothes are brilliantly modern and radiate elegance.  S/S 14 is their sixth collection created together under this label and it is something quite wonderful. So what I was thinking we would do is look at the S/S14 collection and the line for Target because what is better than fashion on a budget.

These were my favourites from the collection...

I adore the patterns they all work so well and are executed so perfectly. The colours also are exactly what Spring and Summer should be about, pastels that are light and beautiful and then also dark oranges and purples, colours of the sunset.

Peter Pilotto's image and style is something I find so unique, the shapes and silhouettes are unorthodox and unexpected!

Now the line for Target...

These pieces are the ones I liked the most and would personally choose. The sunglasses are so amazing, if I could of ordered them online I would of. I am however tempted to order that red dress, the pattern, cut, and colours I just loooooove.

Thats all for now. TaTa x

Makeup Review by Saskia x

Today i thought id do a little review for you cuties, a makeup review to be a little bit more specific. It'll be focused on high end products, and if you like the review ill do another on my high street products! It would be too much to do them both in one post, so i chose high end because theres less which means it'll be a nice little taster for you all.
Hopefully it'll help give you guys an idea of whats worth your money and what you might want to avoid. Just cause it costs a lot does NOT mean its worth a lot.

Okay so first up is Rouge Dior lipstick in 999. This little baby costs £20.00/$34.00 (Lucky for me it was a christmas present) Absolute perfection! Stunning colour perfect for almost any occasion, which for me is important. I want to make as much use of my products as possible. I would definitely suggest it, but only if you're really willing to spend. I would definitely say it's worth the money.

Next up we have a blush and an eyeshadow from Bobbi Brown £19.00/$31.06. The blush is pretty but goes on very thickly, if you aren't careful you'll end up a stylish clown. Although that could just be the colour i chose! The eye shadow really doesn't do much for me, i can barely see a difference, i've recently gotten a bit creative and started using it as a subtle bronzer, just to help my cheekbones pop out, its doing the job well but i really wouldn't suggest getting it, not worth the price especially when there are much cheaper and more effective options out there.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation £32.00/$52.31. Wow. I'm so fussy when it comes to foundations, i have about 4 other unused ones in my makeup bag that i used once and just hated! I thought id take a risk and splurge on this Chanel one, and ohh boy am i glad i did! It's worked wonders for me. It goes on smoothly and very liquidy (not a word, i am aware). It blends nicely and doesn't dry your skin out! It also stays on all day which is a miracle. So far its lasted me a couple of months and i don't see it running out soon, soooo worth the money. Its my baby and now iv gone there i can never go back, which is very unfortunate for me and my bank account.

The Bobbi Brown Lash glamour extreme £19.00/$31.06. Theres nothing particularly special about this mascara, it does the same job as most high street brands. Some high street brands may even do a better job at lengthening and thickening. Although it does last a while and doesn't clump at all which really redeems it for me. However i do think that £19 is a bit of a stretch for what it is and what it does! Sorry Bobbi.

Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Aubergine 5 £18.00/$29.42. No no no no no nonononnfjdonfjan oh lorrddd. This is the stickiest, messiest and most uncomfortable lipgloss ever! Put it on your lips and prepare for a whole other kind of coverage (by this i mean you'll have everything from hair to flies trapped on your lips) it seriously feels like you've slathered your lips in wax which is not ideal for anyone who has any sense of comfort. However the colours are nice, and my mum loves them so it might just be me. But you guys can go and try it out for yourselves, just remember i warned you!

These are the colours of the lipsticks i reviewed, the top one being the Dior (The lighting makes it look a lot paler, in reality its a very deep red.) The second being the wax fly trap and the third is actually a Kate Moss one which i didn't add because its not particularly high end and i already had so many things!

Hope you all liked this, and that it helps you with some tough purchasing decisions :)
