THANKSGIVING OOTD: FT rena and sarhar

FINALLY! My most favorite holiday of the year and the most delicious one too. We ate loads and loads and had such a great time. So here is not only what i wore but what some of my friends wore too!!!

 Firstly meet the beautiful rena, the sun was just setting so the photos for her outfit turned out so niiiiceee. Rena wore the most wonderful festive outfit! A super cute sweater and wool skirt to match. LOVE IT!

Okay dohkay Adios Rena, and hello Sarhar.

The sun was basically going so the photos are not quite as in focused or well lit so please excuse us this time. It is just rather difficult when the sun sets at four, you know. We had to prepare for the thanksgiving meal so out photo taking time was pushed a bit late...ah well. They still look gorgeous.

Sahr wore a super cute white dress that was covered in a rose pattern and on top a cream cardigan. She accessorized with red! The pop of colour is sooooooooooooo yummy

Ugh that bag is so beautiful i wanted to steal it from her mwhahah

 That's it for Sahr and now lastly for my look. I wore my Christmas socks and slippers cause i knew i wasn't going to be leaving my house and they are just the most comfortable things on earth!! And i promise that is not an exaggeration. I then wore a simple black skater skirt, black tank top and a tan lace top over it!

Anyways I hope you all had wonderful Thanksgivings full of family, friends, food and love. I sure did! I am very thankful for all that i have, for the internet, for fashion, clothes and for all the joys and wonders i have in my life.  I am truly blessed.

OOTD: 26th November

SOOoooOOOOooo, my little brother, who is in fact quite the opposite of little (he is so tall) was gonna throw away this fabulous flannel shit, i stepped in and was like eh no no no and now it is mine!!! Hand me downs are the most wondrously wonderful thing. Inspired by my new shirt i threw together this casual outfit to go out and get a few errands done.

OOTD:University opend day!!

Futures are stressful, i feel like i am spending a whole lot of time here in my present preparing and planning for my future. Today me and my beautiful friend went to an open day at UAL Central St Martins college it was big and full of beautiful pretentious art students (maybe i shouldn't claim them all as being pretentious but a few of them were, lets just get real) But still ultimately lovely. Any way this is what i decided would be something fun to wear for my art school open day trip to London (excluding the coat i wore)

Dolce Gabbana: what madi thinks

Before we look at the coming S/S 2014 season lets take a moment to reflect on A/W 13/14 where the beauty of Sicily served as their source of inspiration

 

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are my Gods. They are creative geniuses, their clothes are beyond anything else on this planet. Now lets look toward the future...

I went crazy watching the runway video.  Everything was perfect, it looked like a dream walking down the runway. Wearing those clothes you must feel like you are living a fairy tale. The Sicilian inspiration was used yet again and seems to have payed off. The Greek influence on the island was a main feature of inspiration and you can pin point in some of the prints used. It is truly artwork. I admire the craftsmanship and elegance of the whole collection.

When this dress came down the run way my hands started flailing and i started screaming (not that loud though cause it was like 3am when i watched it) But seriously its ineffable, i cannot summon  words to  express how incredible and beautiful this dress is! It was my  number one piece from the collection.

Here are a few more of my favorites

 Dolce and Gabbana continue to impress me with their eyes for detail. The headbands and heels from A/W 2014 were unbearably perfect and only unbearably because i know i can't have them. This coming season is yet another bullet in my heart because the shoes, head wear and jewellery were all so delicious, seriously they look so good i want to eat them.

The show ended in their traditional style with all the models marching downs the runway, in a swarm of gold this time that was so dreamy and opulent.

I am now so excited to see what they will do next! Thank you Jesus for Stefano and Domenico.
